Victoria Azarenka, who will enter the U.S. Open final against Serena Williams with a 1-9 record against the American, says she won't watch video tapes of her defeats because she doesn't want to be depressed. Azarenka also said she believes she can win the match, but must change something. Williams has won their last five matches without dropping a set, including three victories this year.
“You definitely know that it's gonna be a big adversity there on the court against you," Azarenka said. "You have to be prepared to make sure you want to dig deep and accept the challenge…Of course I'm not gonna go on court and say, ‘Oh, I wish I can win more games than I won last time, right?’ I'm going always to win a match, no, and to do the best as I can. The result will depend on how well I play or how well my opponent also played. So definitely going with the mentality to win. There is no other way.”
