Even though she is 1-7 lifetime against Serena Williams and has lost to her in all five of their Grand Slam meetings, world No. 2 Victoria Azarenka says she will be able to put the losses behind her when they face off in the Wimbledon semifinals.
"Obviously she's a great fighter," Azarenka said. "She never gives up. You always see that, no matter what the score is, she will go for her shots. She has a huge serve, which we all know. Every player that played against her felt that. It's definitely an asset. I don't really like to look back in history because every time you step on the court it's a new story. You kind of write your own history every time."
