ZAGREB, Croatia (AP)—Benjamin Becker rallied past qualifier Andreas Vincuguerra 1-6, 6-1, 7-6 (4) Tuesday to advance to the second round of the Zagreb Indoors.
Becker lost the first five games of the opening set.
Becker will face compatriot Philipp Petzschner, who also rallied from a set down to defeat Christophe Rochus 6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-1.
Daniel Koellerer stopped Andrey Golubev 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. He'll play the winner of the match between top-seeded Marin Cilic and Jan Hajek.
Lukas Lacko advanced when Denis Istomin retired with an injury while trailing 2-6, 2-2.
