GSTAAD, Switzerland(AP) Qualifier Thomaz Bellucci has won his first ATP Tour title by beating Andreas Beck 6-4, 7-6 (2) in the Swiss Open final.
The 21-year-old Brazilian used the only break of Sunday's match to win the first set and then prevailed following a 60-minute rain delay in the second.
The 119th-ranked Bellucci became the fifth first-time winner on tour this season, though not the lowest-ranked. Rajeev Ram of the United States was No. 181 when he won the grass-court tournament at Newport, R.I., this month.
It was Bellucci's second ATP final, after losing to Spain's Tommy Robredo on clay at Costa do Sauipe, Brazil, in February.
With the victory, Bellucci will return to the top 100 in the rankings for the first time in three months.
