Most of Canada’s top women players are training together for 2011 in Montreal, reports the Montreal Gazette. Tennis Canada is now supporting its players with coaching and training, but will stop providing individual coaches.

"It's more of a team approach," Fed Cup captain Sylvain Bruneau said. "Before, each sort of made her own plans. I oversaw it, but it was complicated."

Player staking part in the training include Rebecca Marino, Sharon Fichman, Valerie Tetreault, Heidi El Tabakh and MarieEve Pelletier. Two notable absences are Aleksandra Wozniak and Stephanie Dubois, both who will work with private coaches.

On Friday, former No. 21 Wozniak announced that she will miss the Australian Open with an undisclosed health isse. She hasn't played since the US Open de to forearm tendonitis.
