WIMBLEDON, England (AP)—Arnaud Clement of France and Alejandro Falla of Colombia have been handed wild cards for Wimbledon.
The 33-year-old Clement is a former top-10 player and reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon in 2008.
Falla almost had one of the biggest upsets of the tournament last year when he took the opening two sets against defending champion Roger Federer in the first round only to fall in five sets.
Another eight wild cards have been given to British players, including 2008 junior champion Laura Robson. There are three men’s and three women’s wild cards still to be awarded.
Wimbledon begins on June 20.
