Kim Clijsters is still adjusting to her second career as a tennis player.

The first full season of the U.S. Open champion's comeback is presenting new challenges: figuring out a balanced schedule, needing extra rest, traveling with a 2-year-old daughter.

Nowadays after practice, the 26-year-old Belgian makes sure she picks up something at the supermarket to make lunch at home for the family. Clijsters says, ``It takes a lot of energy.''

Her surprising victory at the final Grand Slam tournament of 2009 makes Clijsters a Laureus World Sports Awards nominee for Comeback of the Year. Winners will be announced Wednesday in a ceremony in the United Arab Emirates.

Other comeback nominees include Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre and cycling's Lance Armstrong.
