U.S. Davis Cup captain Jim Courier is in Memphis watching the American men. Courier will soon name a squad to face Chile the first week of March which will likely include four of the following: Andy Roddick, John Isner, Mardy Fish, Sam Querrey and the Bryan brothers. Bob Bryan, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury that forced the twins to pull out of a tournament in Brazil last week, is on the mend, but the Bryans will contest a tournament in Acapulco next week.

"Since [Courier's] taken the job, he's been very [visible]," Roddick said. "I don't think that there's been four or five days since he's gotten the job that I haven't talked to him. We've always had a very good friendship and there's certainly no downside to having someone around who's been No. 1 in the world also and has won Grand Slams."—Matthew Cronin
