A high court in India has suspended a two-year ban on doubles specialists Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna from representing their country, the *Press Trust of India* reported. The All India Tennis Association (AITA) suspended the pair earlier this week from representing India until June 30, 2014, after Bhupathi and Bopanna refused to partner Leander Paes at the Olympics.

Bhupathi then accused the “dictatorial” AITA of waging a “vendetta” against him. He also said: “At the twilight of my career to face a ban from playing for the country and termed a traitor is unacceptable to me.”
Judge Mohan Shantanagoudar at Karnataka High Court in southwest India challenged the AITA’s decision and suspended the ban.
