Davis Cup to go ahead in Chile

The Chilean tennis federation has announced that Chile will host its Davis Cup tie against Israel next week as planned despite the earthquake that hit the country early Saturday morning.

The tie is being held in the city of Coquimbo.

Members of the Israeli Davis Cup team were on their way to Chile on Saturday before being diverted to Peru because of airport closures.
