Djokovic guests on MTV European Music Awards telecast

The Serb greeted the crowd in Italian before presenting the award

The same guy who had just toyed with his 1-year-old son, in the best way, went on the MTV European Music Awards show Sunday and doled out a statuette.

Indeed, Novak Djokovic, with wife Jelena Ristic at his side, checked out the MTV EMAs and all their pomp.

Musician Ed Sheeran and Orange Is the New Black actor Ruby Rose co-hosted the bash, but it was the Djoker who presented the award for Best Hip-Hop Artist.

With son Stefan no doubt tucked in for the night elsewhere, Djokovic and Ristic made an evening of it. The family is on vacation in Italy anyway, so hey, what would it hurt to make a brief guest spot on a flashy awards show?
