Srdjan Djokovic was diagnosed with an acute respiratory condition, and his son Novak flew to Belgrade to see him earlier this week, Blic reported.

“Srdjan has pulled through, the worst is behind him and he may be discharged from the hospital in about 10 days,” Goran Djokovic, Srdjan’s brother told <em>Bloomberg</em>.  
World No. 2 Djokovic fell to Sam Querrey in the Paris Masters on Wednesday.  
"I had a really difficult period in the last couple of weeks. Tough things happened and a I have a lot of things on my mind," Djokovic told reporters.  
Novak would not go into specifics about his father’s illness.
