Jelena Dokic routs Alicia Molik 6-3, 6-1 to reach the Australian Open wildcard playoff final, where she'll play Olivia Rogowska.

"I feel good. I'm happy that I'm in the final," said former world No. 4 Dokic. "I don't think the score did befit the match, but I played the big points very well."

Former Top 10 player Molik is still hoping that she will get a discretionary wild card, but said she is prepared to play the qualifying fn necessary. In the other semifinal, Rogowska defeated Sophie Ferguson 7-6 (4), 6-4.

On the men’s side, veteran Peter Luczak  fought off four match points and took out Matthew Ebden 6-2, 1-6, 7-6 (5). Top seed Luczak will face second seed Marinko Matosevic, who defeated Adam Feeney 6-3 6-4.—Matthew Cronin
