Nicole Vaidisova and Michaella Krajicek, both troubled by wrist injuries and loss of momentum, have scored their first WTA-level wins since last June. Vaidisova defeated Laura Granville 6-4, 6-2 and Krajicek defeated Julia Schruff 2-6, 6-1, 6-2.
Anne Keothavong, who made her competitive return two weeks ago following a knee injury last July, notched the first WTA win of her comeback 6-1, 6-3 against Kristina Barrois.
