Bunny

Mornin', everyone. I'd like to wish y'all a happy Easter, and if you don't observe the holiday then a great Easter Bunny Weekend, filled with maple-cream filled chocolate Easter eggs, marshmallow chicks coated with granular yellow sugar (I'll bet some of  your remember those), and those Cadbury chocolate eggs. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but I'm a bit of a sucker for those. But I still can't figure out how they manage to get that perfect yellow yolk in there. . .

Anyway, congratulations to Roger and Mirka. I'm lovin' it that Roger would go the classic shotgun wedding route, somehow it makes him seem more like a regular guy to me, subject to the same pressures and inner monologues (or were they dialogs?) about responsibility, commitment, obligation and, yes, consideration. I've got to believe that Mirka feels pretty good that Roger has basically said, "Yep, you're the one."

We have church service in the morning, then a family brunch and Easter egg hunt (last I checked there won't be snow, as there often is on Easter Sunday in this neck of the woods) for the kids. I also learned today that one of my only two nieces is pregnant (eight weeks), with her first child. So today was cause for celebration. And let's remember, Monte Carlo begins Monday, so we will be in Crisis Center mode, with Rosangel posting CC threads (our overseas readers won't be suffering because of the time zone difference) and me doing. . .whatever.

Enjoy today's tennis; Those of you observing the holiday will know I share your joy and thankfulness.
