Elias Ymer is now working with Robin Soderling, and he captured his first title with his new coach at the ATP Challenger event in Cordenons, Italy.
The 21-year-old from Sweden is currently the country's top player, and he said that Soderling, a former Grand Slam finalist, was having a positive effect on him.
"I was really working hard recently, but we started our partnership just three weeks ago," he was quoted as saying by *Tennis TourTalk*. "He believes in me and really raised my level of game."
Soderling was at the event until the semis, and will combine his coaching duties with other commitments. The former Top 5 player also has his own equipment company.
Winning his third Challenger title lifted Ymer to No. 211 in the rankings.
