Elmer Moller

At the Oeiras Open, Denmark's Elmer Moller delivered a powerhouse performance to clinch the title. The 21-year-old left-hander crushed top seed and defending champion Francisco Comesana of Argentina in Sunday's final, 6-0, 6-4, to win the ATP Challenger Tour 125 clay-court event. Moller stormed through the first nine games of the match, showcasing his explosive game and mental composure, even when Comesana attempted a late comeback.

Earlier in the week, Moller defeated No. 4 seed Thiago Monteiro, in his opening match, and No. 2 seed Roman Safiullin in the semifinals.

It’s the second ATP Challenger title for Moller—both secured in Portugal, following his 2023 triumph in Braga. With this win, he jumps 34 spots to a career-high No. 114 in the ATP Rankings.
