Emma Raducanu is back practicing, having recovered from a wrist injury that has kept her off court for several weeks.

The 20-year-old shared a video of herself on an Instagram story hitting tennis balls. She finished her season seven weeks ago and had to withdraw from the Billie Jean King Cup Finals with her injury.

She has been doing rehab during her layoff, also appearing at the women's rugby World Cup and doing some sponsorship photo shoots.

Raducanu is next scheduled to play Ons Jabeur at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship exhibition in Abu Dhabi on December 16, and recently announced she would start next season in Auckland, playing the ASB Classic there.

Raducanu finished the 2022 season under .500 at 17-19.

Following her surprise run at the 2021 US Open, Raducanu endured a tough season and experienced frequent injuries, falling to No. 75 in the rankings.

Describing this season as "only my first full year" on tour, she is aiming to "complete more of the year" while staying "as injury-free as possible" for the season. "A really good physical foundation will hold me in good stead," Raducanu said as her scheduled participation in Auckland was announced.

It's not known whether she will start next season with a coach, having split with Dmitry Tursunov recently. She changed coaches four times since starting to play a full schedule a year and a half ago.

Raducanu has not won any titles since her Grand Slam victory.
