The US Open may be over, but many of tennis’ stars have remained in New York for another big event, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at Manhattan’s famed Bryant Park.

Coincidently, designers and magazine editors came out to Flushing Meadows throughout the fortnight, and this week the players reciprocated, hitting up New York’s Fashion Week circuit in style.

On Thursday, Venus and Serena Williams attended Zac Posen’s show alongside Vogue Editor-in-Chief and tennis fan, Anna Wintour, before parting ways. After a quick wardrobe change, Serena was spotted at Calvin Klein and Venus at Vera Wang.

Fresh off of her 9th Grand Slam title, Serena showed no signs of fatigue from the two weeks of tennis, taking in Vivienne Tam’s runway show on Tuesday and making time for Luca Luca between the stops of her media tour on Monday, where she looked pretty in a black-and-white dress sitting with her agent, Jill Smoller, and Ivana Trump.

Also at the tents on Monday were Maria Sharapova, her stylist Rachel Zoe, and new friend, Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin, at Peter Som, whom Maria wore for her rooftop photo shoot in Singapore just prior to the Australian Open.

Sharapova had invited Liukin, who is also Russian-born and American-bred, to the show before the two met up again at the Gramercy Park Hotel for a Vogue party celebrating Sharapova’s new partnership with designer Cole Haan. Before the US Open, there was also news of the duo collaborating on a magazine photo shoot together following the conclusion of the tournament.

Sharapova, who is currently out with a shoulder injury, was previously at Herve Leger (who dressed Heidi Montag for the Hills premiere) with her trusty marketing rep from Nike, Erryn Weggenmen.

Also on Monday, Venus Williams was front row at Carolina Herrera with her mother, Oracene, Vogue Editor-at-Large Andre Leon Tally, and Herrera muse, actress Renee Zellweger.

Boris Becker and his sons, Elias and Noah, and his new fiancée Sandy Meyer-Woelden were also spotted backstage at the shows. The couple is set to marry next spring.

Fashion Week regular, Roger Federer, has yet to be photographed at Bryant Park, but Andy Roddick and his fiancée, Brooklyn Decker, appeared at the Lacoste show last Saturday. Decker was also at the Generra presentation with actress Julianne Moore.
