Don't cry for him, Australia. Roger Federer has roughly 71.5 million reasons not to be upset about his loss in the Australian Open semifinals to Rafael Nadal, his twenty-third defeat in 33 matches against his rival.
Maria Sharapova chimes in at No. 2 among all ATP and WTA touring pros, with Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams, Nadal, and five more players rounding out the Top 10. No real surprises here, just another reminder that Fed continues to rule the roost in some ways. Forget the keys to the ATP penthouse of a No. 1 player; he could build a dozen penthouses by year's end.
