Ferrero to miss hometown event after surgery

Juan Carlos Ferrero will not play again this season after undergoing knee and wrist surgery in Barcelona on Tuesday.

Ferrero will miss his hometown event in Valencia as a result, a tournament in which he is heavily involved. The recovery process is expected to last about two months.
