Fourhand: Czech fate, Roddick acts up & the amnesiacs' ATP guide

It's a short holiday week stateside, with Thanksgiving upon us, and so the Spin's Friday Fourhand post appears today. Here's the latest as the ATP and WTA seasons have both wound down now.

**1] CZECH BAIT** Steve Tignor says what most everyone is thinking: "Tomas Berdych kinda had a point after all" in targeting Nicolas Almagro of Spain as the player least likely to succeed at the Davis Cup finale in Prague this past weekend. Radek Stepanek, known affectionately to this point as The Worm for his ["dance" move on court, emerged the hero of the championship tie.

[2] ANDY HAMS IT UP Milos Raonic and the fairly docile nation of Canada invited Andy Roddick and Serena Williams up for an exhibition in Toronto, and Agnieszka Radwanska came, too. What transpired? Oh, just Roddick smacking a net with his racquet a few times:

Sports Illustrated has more footage of Roddick, in retirement now enteringanother phase of imitating other stars and former pros. His targets this time: Novak Djokovic, Maria Sharapova, John McEnroe, and Serena herself.

**3] ATP AMNESIA** The Changeover has [the cure for anyone who has trouble recalling how Marcos Baghdatis demolished a few racquets in January, how Roddick topped Roger Federer in their final duel amidst a lopsided head-to-head record, and how John Isner (gasp) beat Fed and the Djoker early in the year before his season largely went to Hades in a handbasket.

**4] GIRLS JUST WANNA** By way of [Beyond the Baseline, Czech stars Lucie Safarova and Andrea Hlavackova got bouncy as they prepared to face Team Serbia in the Fed Cup final two weekends ago, performing a song-and-dance bit (with racquet as prop, naturally) that's winsome and fun ... even if it features an amateur riff on "Call Me Maybe" for the five trillionth time. The good news: It worked. They won. And with this the women's pro season drew to a close:
