RUNNING MAN: Surely this is Sam Groth as you've never seen him before. And it's delightful.

WAIST OF SPACE: In the wake of being named to People’s Most Beautiful issue, Serena Williams published a celebratory Instagram post. Fans found her waistline to be trimmed via Photoshop, and the WTA tour's most recognizable star swapped out the image for one that appeared to be more true to life.

WELL-LIT: Speaking of Serena, John Jeremiah Sullivan wrote the foreword to *String Theory*, the new collection of David Foster Wallace's tennis writings out this month. He dishes on DFW's affinity for Roger Federer, his writing style and more, and reflects on Serena's personality upon meeting her at a tournament.
