After holding off Juan Carlos Ferrero 7-5, 6-3, 3-6, 2-6, 6-4, Robby Ginepri has become the last American man standing at the French Open.

Ginepri reached the fourth round two years ago as well, and was also the last American remaining in the tournament that year. He will face Novak Djokovic for a spot in the quarterfinals.

"I'll do what I can to represent the U.S. as well as I can," he said. "You don't really think about that.  Obviously you want as many Americans in the tournament as you can.  But if I'm the last man standing, you know, so be it."
