On Monday night Iga Swiatek will face Elina Svitolina in the fourth round of the Miami Open, and there’s a big milestone on the line—if she wins it’ll be her 21st win of the year, which would surpass Mirra Andreeva for the most wins on the tour, for a woman or man, in 2025.

But before she even takes the court, she hits another milestone.

Monday marks the beginning of Swiatek’s 200th career week in the Top 10 of the WTA rankings, an incredible feat given she’s still just 23.

She first broke into the Top 10 as a 19-year-old on May 17th, 2021, rising from No. 15 to No. 9 after capturing the first WTA 1000 title of her career in Rome, and apart from a brief two-week period later that year where she dipped to No. 11, she’s been ranked in the Top 10 ever since.

IGA SWIATEK'S TOP 10 STINTS:

And there’s something even more amazing about Swiatek’s 200 career weeks in the Top 10—she’s spent 79.5% of it in the Top 2.

Since first reaching No. 2 on March 21st, 2022, she hasn’t left the Top 2, not even for a single week—that’s now 159 weeks in a row, which is just over three years’ worth of weeks. That streak includes 125 career weeks at No. 1 and 33 weeks (including this week) at No. 2.

She never even stopped at No. 3 or No. 5 en route to the top.
