Birds interrupting play is nothing new, but it's always entertaining. At the Wimbledon qualifying event in Roehampton, one pigeon wanted to be really up close to the action. The intruder made its move to the grass midway through the second set of the match between Miyu Katu and Amandine Hesse
The Wimbledon hawk, named Rufus, does his pigeon-scaring business at the main event at the All England Club, so he wasn't around to help. After play carried on, Katu would win the match in three sets.
