India’s Somdev Devvarman and Sanam Singh win the doubles gold at the Asian Games by beating China’s Gong Maoxin and Li Zhe 6-3, 6-7 (4), 10-8 (super tiebreak). Taiwan won two gold medals: Chan Yung Jan and Yang Tsung Hua won the mixed over India’s Sania Mirza and Vishnu Vardhan, and Chan Yung-jan and Chuang Chia-jung overcame compatriots Chang Kai-chen and Hsieh Su-wei in women's doubles. The Taiwanese government is offering cash to medal winners. Chan, who has won three medals, is set to collect $247,000.
