Hi all - I'm not sure when today's official Crisis Center will appear, but please discuss the tennis in this space until that happens.

Update:  Well, afternoon, all.

Andrew's in da house.

Thanks to Rosangel for minding the store while I was en route.  My luggage hasn't made it yet, so if you see a dishevelled Englishman wandering the IW Tennis Gardens in the next day or so, you'll know it's still stuck somewhere between Alberta and California.

Looks like this will be the last picture of Elena Dementieva this week: Dementieva is already out to Petra Cetkovska.  As I write, Ana Ivanovic is struggling with the wind in the early going on the main stadium court, and she's twice surrendered her serve.  Her opponent, Yakimova, has an even higher service toss than I do, which means Wall Street can fall 100 points in the time it takes the ball to come down from the peak (not on a Saturday, thankfully).  We'll see if Yakimova's serve can hold up.  And as I write, a break, so it's 3-1 Yakimova.

If anyone is planning to visit and wants to say hi, eMail me with a cell contact.  I'll be here all week.
