As John Isner and Nicolas Mahut return to Wimbledon, where play begins next week, they know everyone will want to ask about their record-breaking match in the first round a year ago.

Isner beat Mahut 70-68 in the fifth set, after 11 hours, 5 minutes of action spread over three days at the All England Club. It is by far the longest match in tennis history.

The man who lost, Mahut, is now fairly comfortable reminiscing about - and drawing inspiration from - the whole ordeal. He's even written a book about it.

And the man who won, Isner? He is eager to be associated with something other than that Wimbledon match that dragged on and on and on.
