Goran Ivanisevic has lost his cameo match with Marin Cilic in Zagreb. The Croatian pair fell to Filip Polasek and Igor Zelenay 7-6 (4), 6-4.
"I had problems with my serve and he had trouble on the return," the big-serving Ivanisevic said of himself and protégé Cilic. "From all the shots that I thought may go wrong, I never thought it would be my serve.
"But this match was important for Marin, for him to feel the court and experience the atmosphere for his upcoming singles matches.
"I’m satisfied with the level I played after so many years. The atmosphere was great and I really enjoyed the match."
