Ana Ivanovic has accepted a wild card into New Haven, which is played the week before the U.S. Open.

The former No. 1 has won only three of her last nine matches since reaching the Rome semifinals in May, and has fallen to No. 60 in the rankings.

Ivanovic is also considering playing the qualifying of the upcoming WTA Premier tournament in Montreal, an event she won in 2006, but to date, has been denied a wild card.—Matthew Cronin
