Former world No. 1 Jelena Jankovic has hired former Romanian ATP player Andrei Pavel as her coach on a trial basis. The two are working together now in Serbia and are planning to travel together to Australia. Currently No. 8, Jankovic was coached by Ricardo Sanchez for part of 2010, but only managed to win one title, Indian Wells. Pavel reached a career high of No. 13 in 2004.—Matthew Cronin
