Ivan Lendl tells the Scotsman that he knows what it takes to help Andy Murray win a Grand Slam. Murray hired the eight-time Grand Slam champion to be his new coach earlier this week. The fourth-ranked Murray has yet to win a set in three Grand Slam finals.

"To me this is like Groundhog Day, I have been in this movie,” said Lendl, who was unable to win his first major until his fifth Grand Slam final. “I was that player once, who needed something to help make it work, it was the same as I was before I hired [Tony Roche]. What happened then changed my career around. What excites me about this partnership? More than anything, it is simply that this is absolutely the best match-up."
