After Monica Niculescu upset Li Na in the first round of China Open, 6-4, 6-0, the world No. 5 said she's completely lost her way. Since becoming the first Chinese player to win a major at Roland Garros in early June, Li has gone 6-7 and has only reached one semifinal. She was upset in the second round of Wimbledon and the first round of the U.S. Open. "I have just lost all confidence," Li told reporters. "On the court, I don't know what I can do. It was tough even winning one point. I asked my coach (husband Jiang Shan) to advise me. I know what he said was exactly right, but I couldn't do (what he said)."

The 29-year-old added that is she feeling the heat. "China is special," she said. "This is the biggest tournament in China. Of course I wanted to do well. But sometimes if I really want to do well, I put more pressure on myself. [But] it's not only the pressure I give myself. It's also from outside."
