Lleyton Hewitt praises his wife, actress Bec Cartwright, for supporting him through thick and thin. "Obviously this year has been a real battle for us, for me physically, and she's always been there to support me and the biggest positive is I've been able to be home and clean nappies and do all those things a bit more," Hewitt said at an awards dinner. "But you've been my rock the whole time, sweetie, so thank you very much."

Hewitt, 30, admitted that the only times he has cried were when Australia lost the Davis final against Spain in 1999 and in September when he lost to Stan Wawrinka in the fifth rubber against Switzerland. "Believe me ... I'm still not over it yet," he said.
