The first round match between John Isner and Nicholas Mahut at Wimbledon stands at 6-4, 3-6, 6-7 (7), 7-6 (3), 59-59 (yes) after being suspended overnight for darkness for a second day.

The two were stopped at two sets all on Tuesday night, resuming Wednesday for an epic fifth set that has lasted for seven hours and six minutes—longer than the longest match ever previously played.

The match has not only broken but smashed virutally all longest match records. It is exactly ten hours old at this point—the only match in competitive history to go beyond nine, eight or seven hours. The fifth set is the only set to go past to go past 50-50, 40-40 or 30-30. Both players have broken the record for most aces served.
