When it comes to the ATP World Tour Finals, Mardy Fish is quick to admit he's simply happy to be there.

Weeks away from his 30th birthday, Fish is making his debut at the season-ending tournament for the top eight men in tennis. He says Tuesday he's ``excited to be a part of this thing.''

Fish faces Rafael Nadal when play begins Sunday in London. The American's other opponents in round-robin play are Roger Federer and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Fish says he doesn't feel like he belongs in the same category as players such as Federer and Nadal - even if he weren't dealing with what he calls a ``small'' left leg injury.

But Fish also thinks he can make it to the semifinals or even the final in London.
