Another day, another five-set match to dig into!

With Jannik Sinner forcing a fifth set on Tuesday in his quarterfinal with Daniil Medvedev, there have now been 36 matches to go five sets at this year’s Wimbledon. The total breaks the record for a single major event that was previously shared by the 1983 US Open and 2024 Australian Open.

Medvedev went on to prevail, 6-7 (7), 6-4, 7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-3, to snap a five-match losing streak to the Italian and equal his 2023 showing. The 2021 US Open champion now owns seven victories over No. 1-ranked opponents.

Can you recall every five-setter at SW19 thus far? On Wednesday, Lorenzo Musetti added to the new benchmark when he rallied past Taylor Fritz to reach his first major semifinal.

Read below for a refresher of every men’s singles contest to go the distance at The Championships through Medvedev's win in the last eight. Bold denotes a two-set comeback:

These two also went five in this year's Australian Open, when Sinner overcame a two-set deficit to win his first major.
