Former French Open champion Michael Chang and his wife, former Stanford standout Amber Lui, announced the birth of their first child, Lani, a daughter, who was born on Thursday morning.

Chang said in an email that Lani weighed in at 6 pound, 3 ounces and "baby and mom are doing well and are expected to come home on Saturday."—Matthew Cronin
