Alicia Molik and Casey Dellacqua have won their opening round-robin matches in Tennis Australia's wildcard playoffs, with Molik defeating Jade Hooper 6-1, 6-2 and Dellacqua taking down top seed Olivia Rogowska 7-6 (10), 6-0.
Bernard Tomic defeated John-Patrick Smith 6-3, 6-2, while Brydan Klein lost 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(2) to James Duckworth.
