Carlos Moya says he is excited about John McEnroe joining him in coaching Milos Raonic during Wimbledon.
The former world No. 1 called McEnroe "one of the greatest volleyers ever."
“For sure he has some tips to give Milos and to us,” Moya told *Sport 360*. “It's going to be a great learning experience with all of us."
McEnroe, who will serve as a consultant for the 24-year-old Canadian during the grass-court season, is the third coach currently assisting Raonic, along with Moya and Riccardo Piatti.
Like Raonic, Moya does not believe that three is a crowd.
"It’s going to work very well,” Moya said. “We get along very well, which is the most important thing. We are here on board to help Milos be a better player. No egos here. He’s the boss, let’s say, and we have to give him our best thoughts and our best advice, and that’s not going to be a problem at all."
Raonic, who was upset by Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the fourth round of the French Open, is No. 9 in the rankings.
