MONACO (AP)—Australian Open finalist Andy Murray of Britain and Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic have been given wild cards for the Monte Carlo Masters.
Fourth-ranked Murray joins the world’s top three players, Rafael Nadal of Spain, Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Roger Federer of Switzerland in the draw. Berdych is ranked seventh.
Murray reached the Monte Carlo semis in 2009, Berdych two years earlier. Both lost to Nadal, who is the six-time defending champion.
