Andy Murray credits former No. 1 Ivan Lendl with helping him get over the hump at big tournaments. In 2012, Murray won his first Grand Slam singles title at the U.S. Open, and won the Olympic gold medal in singles.

“I think it was a step that I needed to take, and was very important to me and helped me get over that final hurdle,” Murray told reporters. “I’m happy with the year and I’ll work really hard in December to get better.”
