Andy Murray is expected to rename Amelie Mauresmo as his coach, reports the British press, with the two training together this week in Miami.
Murray began working with the two-time Grand Slam champion on a trial basis before Wimbledon, drawing attention for becoming one of the few men with a female coach.
Following Murray's quarterfinal exit at Wimbledon, reports surfaced that Murray's camp was unhappy with not being consulted fully about the appointment of Mauresmo, though the complaints were said not to relate to Mauresmo personally.
Following his defeat at Wimbledon, Murray had indicated he would like the partnership to continue. "I hope so," he said at the time. "But, yeah, it has to come from both sides."
Mauresmo has joined Murray for his training camp in Miami ahead of the hard-court season, suggesting the two have agreed to extend their coaching relationship.
