Andy Murray says he was still affected by his shoulder while playing Benoit Paire at the Hopman Cup.

The world No. 6 hurt his shoulder in Abu Dhabi while defeating Rafael Nadal and described the injury as "quite sore" during his match against at Hopman Cup, despite a straight-sets win.

"Maybe it was playing a match after having a break, or I just got it in the wrong position and tweaked something a little bit, but I should be fine," he said.

However, Murray reported that a scan showed no serious problem. Britain defeated France in the Hopman Cup meeting, with Murray winning both his singles and mixed doubles.
