Nadal becomes shareholder in Real Mallorca

Rafael Nadal has become a shareholder in his local soccer club Real Mallorca.

"It's an honor to be able to help Real Mallorca, I will help in any way I can," the club quoted Nadal as saying.

The club has been in financial difficulties and is bringing in new investors. Nadal's uncle, former soccer star Miguel Angel Nadal, will be an assistant manager with the team.
