CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) Top-ranked Caroline Wozniacki moved into the Family Circle Cup finals with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Jelena Jankovic.
Wozniacki broke Jankovic's serve five times, including in the final game of the match. She'll face either Peng Shuai or Elena Vesnina in Sunday's championship.
Jankovic, ranked No. 8, hadn't lost a set here in three matches before facing Wozniacki. The 20-year-old Dane pressured Jankovic from the start, extending rallies and forcing her to chase down shots from the deep corners of the court.
Wozniacki reached the finals for the second time in three appearances. She lost the title to Sabine Lisicki in 2009.
