Fashion makes for strange bedfellows, or at least cover fellows.

None other than Novak Djokovic and Beyoncé Knowles grace the dual covers of the July/August issue of L'Uomo Vogue magazine in Italy. The two look dashing in designer tuxes (plus short shorts on the lady) in their apparent Victor Victoriahomage.

So why them, and why now? Because, as the magazine eloquently puts it, "Give more space to the young" is the cynical mantra of many an older person in power who wishes to retain the crown but welcome the next upstart—and the aging titans of tennis and music both are bending to these twentysomethings. Observers and competitors in both realms are well aware that these two are mainstays.

No doubt a certain wee streak is involved in Djokovic getting this brand of media play. Still, it's hard not to think of what a great tandem they could make either on the court or in the studio. Consider that Serena starred in a music video with Jay-Z and this collab's possibility isn't so far fetched. At the least let's get these two together at Arthur Ashe Kids' Day at the U.S. Open.

Come now, witness this talent:

What's not to like, Be? Smells like a remix, Beyoncé featuring the Djoker. Hey, if golden-grilled rapper Nelly and hirsute country daddy Tim McGraw can link up, anything can happen.
