Novak Djokovic's indoor winning percentage is up to 80.0% after his run to the title in Paris

He’s the only man in the Open Era who's at 80.0% or higher in his career on hard, clay, grass, outdoors AND indoors.

Novak Djokovic achieved a lot last week—his record-extending seventh Rolex Paris Masters title and his record-extending 40th Masters 1000 crown, to name just a few of his accomplishments.

But there’s another career milestone the world No. 1 reached—with his five wins en route to the title in the French capital, Djokovic improved his career indoor winning percentage to exactly 80.0%.

He went in with a 187-48 indoor record, or 79.6%, but after wins over Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Tallon Griekspoor, Holger Rune, Andrey Rublev and Grigor Dimitrov, he left at 192-48, which is exactly 80.0%.

According to atptour.com, Djokovic is now one of just six men in the Open Era with an 80.0% or higher career winning percentage indoors.

But there’s more: Djokovic now has an 80.0% or higher career winning percentage in all five current “environments” in ATP stats—indoor, outdoor and the three surfaces of hard, clay and grass. He’s the only man in the Open Era at 80.0% or higher in all five environments.

Of his now-97 career ATP titles, 18 of them have come indoors, the biggest ones being his six ATP Finals titles and seven Rolex Paris Masters titles.

There are four men in the Open Era who are at 80.0% or higher in four of the five: Bjorn Borg (missing hard), Jimmy Connors (missing clay), Ivan Lendl (missing grass) and Roger Federer (missing clay). They're all retired, so Djokovic might be alone in this stat for a while.

With such incredible consistency across all five environments, it should come as no surprise that Djokovic has the highest overall career winning percentage among men in the Open Era, period, at 83.7% (1,082-211). Rafael Nadal is next at 82.9% (1,068-220).

Djokovic will go for his record-breaking seventh ATP Finals title this coming week, held on the indoor hard courts of Turin, Italy.
