It's set to be Caitlyn Jenner's party, but they're all invited.

This year's ESPY Awards migrate from ESPN to ABC for the first time ever, and, whether they're present or not,  Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic will vie for some notable awards. Williams received a nomination for Best Female Athlete alongside tennis superfan Lindsay Vonn, Breanna Stewart, and Ronda Rousey. Djokovic will look to add to his trophy cache as he goes up against Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Lewis Hamilton, and Lydia Ko for the Best International Athlete award.

Williams and Djokovic are up for gender-specific Best Tennis Player statuettes as well. The former faces off against Maria Sharapova, Simona Halep, and Petra Kvitova. The latter takes on Roger Federer, Marin Cilic, and Stan Wawrinka. (Notably absent from the nominations: Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray. Each has won a major event more recently than has Federer.)

The ESPYs have incited some criticism this year for Jenner's impending Arthur Ashe Courage Award acceptance, a selection tweaked by the likes of Bob Costas. Even so, none other than Billie Jean King spoke on a Philadelphia radio program last week about Jenner's transformation.

The ESPYs will air on July 15 at 8 p.m. (EST). Funnyman Joel McHale of "The Soup" and "Community" fame will host. Let's just be thankful that Jamie Foxx won't again be empowered to serenade the WTA Tour's No. 1 star.
